FROM
BRUCE WOOLF:
After an
extremely long and courageous fight with cancer, Ronnie I, President of United
In Group Harmony Association (UGHA) passed away last night. A more truer and
dedicated person to Vocal Group Harmony of the 50's era does not exist. For
thirty years or more, Ronnie I did everything in his power to resurrect those
fabulous sounds of a great era.
Was through his continued efforts that he found and brought back on stage
numerous vocal groups that were never forgotten by us who love the sound.
The thrills to see these acts on stage and performing the songs we grew up with
can never be topped.
Thank you, Ronnie I for all you've done.
May you rest in peace in Vocal Group Heaven as you enjoy the notes hit on the
Celestial Corners.
